Esze Jenő, aki több mint negyven éve a zenei szakterület egyik országosan elismert tekintélye. Zongoraművészi és zenepedagógusi tevékenységét több magas kitüntetéssel ismerték el: Artisjus-díj, Köztársasági Érdemkereszt, Weiner Leó-díj. Tánc-és szalonzenekara az ország egyik legjobb együttese, a legjelentősebb bálokon, rendezvényeken szerepel évtizedek óta bel-és külföldön egyaránt. Ebben a formációban énekel tizenhárom éve Orsolya.

Esze Jenő a pedagógiai pálya mellett írt zongoraiskolát, zeneelmélet könyveket, különböző szakcikkeket. Több mint 30 évig az országos minősítő vizsgabizottság tagja volt. Zeneelmélet témakörben rendszeres előadásokat tartott főiskolákon. Szóló koncerteket adott a Pesti Vigadóban, a Zeneakadémián két nagy sikerű zongora párbajban lépett fel Oravecz Györggyel és Lengyel Zoltánnal, melyet a Bartók Rádió élő adásban közvetített. Harminchat éves pedagógiai pályafutása során növendékeiből számos országos hírű művész került ki.

Dalaiban követi az igényes afro- és latin-amerikai zene hagyományait. Számai igazi sláger ízűek, hangszerelései a 30-as, 40-es évek amerikai jazz standardek hangulatát idézik.
